MUMBAI: Star Bharat's recently launched show Tera Mera Saath Rahe is constantly entertaining the viewers ever since the first episode.
With a few actors like Rupal Patel, Gia Manek, Mohammad Nazim, and Vandana Vithlanee reuniting, the makers have roped in some fresh faces too this time.
Pooja Kava, Raj Kumar, Jyoti Mukherjee, Sumati Singh, Nitin Vakharia, among others are seen in pivotal roles on the show.
Pooja is seen as Tejal who is Meenal and Keshav's daughter and Saksham and Chirag's sister.
The viewers are in love with Pooja's amazing performance and she has received a positive response from the fans.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Pooja who spoke at length about her journey, how she bagged the role and much more.
Talking about doing the show, the actress said, ''I was extremely happy to have working with such talented and experienced actors like Gia, Rupal mam and Nazim. I got to learn a lot. Gia is extremely humble while Nazim is very helpful and shares his experiences. I am very excited and very happy to work with them.''
Speaking about her character, she said, ''I am able to relate to my character to the full extent. When I was briefed about my character, I was very excited. I feel like I am playing myself.''
Pooja also spilt beans on how her journey started from the show, she said, ''I got a lot of firing when I started my journey in the show. I used to get scolded by the directors. However, the team is very helpful. I was very nervous and stressed in the initial days. But I had to take it in a positive way. My director is very helpful. I recollect the moment when I ended up crying on the first day of my shoot. It was my close shot and I was unable to deliver expressions. The director had scolded me but everyone consoled me.''
Talking about the reason behind choosing the acting profession and what was her alternate profession, she said, ''I am a dubbing artist and doing it for a very long time. My family is from the media industry. I used to like all this a lot. My career started with a dubbing career. My father had many contacts in the production houses and he took a lot of effort to get me into this. Then I gave auditions but I was still sceptical as this career is not stable. But then I just kept going.''
Pooja has previously done several episodics and also starred in Star Plus' popular show Meri Durga.
