MUMBAI: Kanwar Dhillon is well known for his negative characters in the shows, but with Pandya Store, fans witnessed a completely different avatar of him as Shiva Pandya. His pairing with Raavi aka Alice Kaushik has been much in buzz for all the right reasons.
The recent episodes of Pandya Store have unveiled an explored side of Shiva's character and fans are in love with it. Shiva has become a family member of each and every viewer with its absolutely relatable performance.
In an exclusive conversation with us, Kanwar gave some absolutely intriguing answers, you wouldn't t want to miss a read.
Kanwar and Shiva have become synonymous in reality, what could be that one quality of Shiva you would love to imbibe in Kanwar?
It is good to know that Kanwar and Shiva have become synonymous in reality for people. I think that is indeed a compliment. One quality would be, how Shiva is quite expressive emotionally in front of Suman maa and Dhara Bhabhi, I don't do that in reality, I often keep things to myself and don't really express it out in reality. Shiva is quite child-like when he has to express it out, he is rugged and angry as well but these qualities make him relatable.
What is that one piece of advice that you would love to give Shiva?
Bro, life is short, you should learn to share your feelings and emotions towards your partner Raavi more easily. Now you are married to her, forget the fights that happened in past and express yourself to her. Tell her about how important she is to you and show your love to her. Don't let things go down south instead take things in your hand and unwrap those layers in front of her as soon as possible.
Talking about your chemistry with the co-stars, tell us something about your bond with your onscreen mom Krutika Desai Khan.
My chemistry with all my co-stars is really well, different with different people, I am the closest to Kinshuk and Alice on the sets. About Kritikaji, she is someone I enjoy doing my scenes a lot with. She camouflages into every scene, very well. I can completely relate to her as we have a similar way of acting.
It is always fun working with such good actors, we naturally get expressions in the scenes together, we often play with our eyes in scenes where there are no dialogues. I think that's a great sign of being a great co-actor. Apart from that she is a great human being and she opens up with very few people, I am glad that Alice and I have some long conversations with her often.
We couldn't agree more with Kanwar on this, and you?
