Shubh Laabh hit the small screens last year and the show has become everyone's favourite.
TellyChakkar got in touch with Geetanjali who spoke about her favourite roles, journey in the TV industry and much more.
A role you portrayed so far in your TV shows which is really close to your heart? Which one was extremely challenging?
All characters that I played to date are totally different from each other. To choose a favourite is like asking a parent, who’s their favourite child. Each character brings with it its own set of challenges.
Any alternate profession you wish to take up apart from acting?
If not an actor, I would perhaps be a writer, a bureaucrat, or a business owner. I don’t know. As an actor, I can be all of the above and more. I’m blessed to be an actor.
Being a seasoned actress, you have had a flourishing career till now. But does it bother you if you will get great roles in the future as the entertainment industry is extremely unpredictable?
I go with the flow and always have. Good roles have come to me because I wait patiently. I’ve consciously maintained the quality of my work. I am happy doing TV because I’m trusted with challenging roles. Any other medium is yet to offer me a meaty role. As far as the future is concerned, I’m hopeful it will be great. I will keep pursuing good roles.
Geetanjali has previously starred in shows like Karam Apna Apna, Naagin 3, and Kasauti Zindagi Kay among others.
