Tell us about the things you take under consideration while bringing your child up.

Firstly, I would like to break the myth. In the current times, fathers are not those earlier. Before, mothers were solely responsible for childcare. But now, fathers do contribute to it. I am thankful to my husband, and we have divided the duties. He is equally responsible for our child. Some values are inculcated by me and some by him, so we make sure that we do not cross each other. I recommend that one practice joint parenting and give equal time to the kid for a powerful upbringing.

How do you strike a work-life balance?

I make sure that a part of me is at home. I have knowledge of what my daughter is eating all day. I am always in touch with the caretaker, even when I am on the sets. Half my soul is at home. But after reaching home, I prefer not to attend calls after 10.30 PM, because that is my family time with my hubby and daughter. I make sure my hubby eats well. Sometimes, I buy veggies from the market before coming to the set and store it in my car. I am strong both personally and professionally.

What is your take on mothers getting dependent on digitalization for the upbringing of their child?

Digitalization is not hampering the growth years of the kid. It is a tool to learn and explore, just the same as books. But if your child is playing games, that is also interesting. Their minds turn sharp, and sometimes, even cognitive skills develop. As parents, make sure that screen time is less so that it does not affect them physically.
