EXCLUSIVE! The new season of Masterchef India to have THESE celebrity guest judges

MUMBAI : One of the most-watched cooking reality shows on Indian television is MasterChef India. The show has been broadcast on StarPlus ever since Endemol Shine India adapted the program from its original international version.

The Australian program MasterChef Australia, in turn, was based on the original British MasterChef, and so is the Indian version of MasterChef.

Akshay Kumar, Kunal Kapur, and Ajay Chopra were the judges for the first season of MasterChef India on StarPlus. In addition to them, Vikas Khanna, Sanjeev Kapoor, Ranveer Brar, Zorawar Kalra, and Vineet Bhatia, among others have served as judges in MasterChef India - Hindi over the years.

As we reported earlier, the new season of the show is set to premiere soon and this season’s judges include Chef Vikas Khanna, Chef Garima Arora, and Chef Ranveer Brar.

Just like every season, this season too will have celebrity guest judges.

As per sources, this season will have Chef Saransh Goila and Chef Zorawar Kalra as celebrity guest judges. This is not confirmed yet but there are speculations that they will appear on the show.

Saransh Goila is an Indian chef who won Food Food Maha Challenge. He is the founder of a popular Mumbai-based restaurant 'Goila Butter Chicken' and the author of the acclaimed food travelogue 'India on my Platter. 

Zorawar Kalra is an Indian restaurateur. He is the son of Jiggs Kalra, the ‘Czar of Indian Cuisine’. He is the founder and managing director of Massive Restaurants Pvt Ltd, which owns brands such as Masala Library, Pa Pa Ya, Farzi Café, Made in Punjab, and a unique Asian eatery.

The last season aired in 2019. The new season will be the 7th of the series. The show always manages to gain a lot of love and attraction from the audience.
