TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him what his impression of Niti was from Season 1 until now, and whether he feels the pressure with every season.

How was it like to return to the sets of the show from Season 1 to Season 4?

It feels like coming back home. We sort of have mixed feelings about coming back. We are happy when we come back to the sets of the show with new members, but then it feels weird that even after eight years we are here playing Nandini and Manik. But we are so proud of how the show has turned out to be and the kind of fandom that we have is unbelievable. We didn’t imagine that it would become so big when we had started shooting for the series, and with every season a new story unfolds.

When a new season of the series starts, and when the next one is about to begin, the responsibilities do increase. But as it’s already reached Season 4, does the responsibility level come down?

Part one is one of a kind as it was the fans that made it a huge success, and it’s because of them that the show is returning now. So we are more relaxed as the audience has already connected to us, so the pressure is less now. Whatever we are doing is for the audiences. We don’t want to disappoint them and hence we are trying to give them our best. We will make them cry with the story line, and we will give them a better version of Manik and Nandini in every season.

What was your first impression when you met Niti for the first time in Season 1, and did anything change by Season 4?

Of course, we have grown as individuals. The Niti I knew way back in Season 1 in 2014 was very different compared to who she is now. Today, she has grown as an actor and has become so mature, and the acting journey of mine including whatever I have learnt began with her. So it’s really special to work with her in each season.

Well, there is no doubt that the fans love Parth as Manik and the fandom he has is crazy.

Are you excited for the new season?
