We got in touch with Ankit Siwach to know about his reason to agree to the show, his character and more:
As an actor what do you expect from your character to add to the perception of the audience?
As an actor, I would want Armaan to give hope to the people who we are targeting, to the people who feel lesser of themselves in society. I feel that Armaan should be the one who lets them know that this is not the end of the world and there is a lot to look forward to, to come out of the shell and feel loved. For every Diya, there is an Armaan waiting and for every Armaan, there is a Diya surely.
What should the fans expect from your character?
Fans should expect a lot of sympathy, empathy, love, fun and tensions and a complete package of emotions from Armaan, I think he will take everyone on a rollercoaster ride of emotions from Armaan.
Who is your inspiration behind the character?
There are a lot of inspirations from the character as the show is such, the story comes from the real world. What we see in every second house, if I talk about characters then I look up to Jack from This is Us, he is one of the characters that I have watched recently and he is who Armaan looks up to.
As we talk about Yeh Jhuki Jhuki Si Nazar, what was your reason behind agreeing to the show?
There was no reason to say no to the show, everything was so apt, starting from the writers, the platform StarPlus, everything has been conceptualised so perfectly that I had to agree to be a part of it.
Are you all excited to meet Armaan?
