MUMBAI:    Udaariyan is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, and the story keeps the audience hooked.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him about playing the role of Ekam, and what was the reaction of the fans when they got to know that he was playing the lead in the serial.

Tell us something about playing the role of Ekam?

It’s very interesting, but more than playing Ekam, I am excited and thrilled to be part of Udaariyan. It is so good to be in Punjab to shoot for the series, and the weather is so chilled out here.

What was the reaction of the fans when they found out that you will be a part of Udaariyan?

Everyone’s reaction was good and they all liked it and gave a good response for it.

How is the environment on the sets of the show?

These days we do not get much time to chill on the sets of the show because of the hectic schedules, but we do have fun while shooting and the entire cast and crew bond well.

How is your bond with Twinkle and Sonakshi?

The first time I met them was during the promo shoot. Twinkle is from Punjab only, and I take help from her to learn the Punjabi language. Sonakshi is from Delhi and Mumbai so we speak about those places. So there is bonding and friendship between us.

Well, there is no doubt that the audience loves Hitesh Bharadwaj as ‘Ekam’, and they are slowly getting connected with the character.
