MUMBAI: The empress of a million hearts with her bubbly nature and alluring personality, Shrenu Parikh finally comes back with a completely different character you would ever witness.

Shrenu is all set to leave her fans flabbergasted with her OTT debut in Gujarati Political Thriller “Kshadyantra”. It is an original web series under the cape of Shemaroo me. Apart from Shrenu, there are some eminent names in the show including Apara Mehta, Rohini Hattangady, Deepak Gheevala, and so on.

In an exclusive conversation with us, Shrenu reveals her struggle with Gujarati while performing her scenes, “Vishal and I found it quite challenging at the beginning, we were struggling a lot for the proper pronunciations of words, with such stalwarts around we had to put our best foot ahead.”

“Few words in Gujarati differ from region to region, the language spoken in Ahmedabad and Baroda has major differences with the change in accent and words whereas Surat and Mumbai residents have a completely different way of speaking Gujarati from the metro cities in Gujarat. I am sure after doing the show, my Gujarati has improved a lot and I finally got an opportunity to learn the language in-depth,” she added.

Shrenu shared her experience of working with Apara Mehta and Rohini Hattangady, “It has been a long time since I took a break, and finally I am coming back with a Gujarati web series. Apara ma’am is omnipresent with her craft and I enjoyed working with her. Rohini ma’am is an absolute sweetheart, I learned a lot from her. The series has a lot of actors from Gujarati Theatre as well. I was thrilled to be a part of such an amazing project.”
