MUMBAI: Swaran Ghar is produced by Sargun Mehta and Ravi Dubey’s Dreamiyata Productions. It explores the strained equations between parents and children. Ravi and Sargun's first production 'Udaariyaan' on the same channel is working wonders on the small screens.
Ronit Roy and Sangeeta Ghosh play the lead pair on the show. The show is said to be inspired by the movie 'Baghban', but Ronit Roy has stated that it might sound similar but the stories are polar opposites.
It also stars Ajay Singh Chaudhary, Sandeep Sharma, Shashwat Tripathi, Rohit Chaudhary, Preet Rajput, and Shraman Jain.
Rohit Chaudhary is one of the handsome hunks of TV, the star has been seen in multiple roles over time but namely 'Naagin 3', 'Vighnaharta Ganesh', and Kumkum Bhagya most notable of them
Rohit is the new kid on the block with his new show, literally because he plays the middle son on one of the most anticipated upcoming shows, 'Swaran Ghar' produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta's Dreamiyata Productions.
TellyChakkar spoke to Rohit Chaudhary about his reaction to the story,
When you first heard the story, what were your reaction to the story and your expectations from the show?
When Sargun first narrated the story, I got chills and I had tears in my eyes, especially when we got to know the whole story and what takes place, the dilemmas of the parents and the kids, why they are the way they are. I think this is one of the most beautiful stories and I am fortunate that I get to be a part of it
The show is about Families and the interworking of them, How relatable was this to your life, or if you found any similarities with your character?
Actually, I do have a lot of similarities with my character Vikram because I share a similar kind of mirror image in my relationship with my parents in terms of equations because I am closer to my mother and I do have disagreements with my father because there is a difference of perspectives, I sometimes have Deja Vu with the dialogues when I feel like I have said this before. I have become closer with my family since starting this show, I want to understand them more.
What is your relationship with your Onscreen sibling like?
I think we have embodied our sibling bond, we live together and spend so much time together, and luckily we have a lot of love for each other, so there's so much fun and excitement with each other, we fight and live like siblings.
Rohit Chaudhary plays the role of Vikram Bedi in 'Swaran Ghar' on Colors, the show premieres on 7th March.
