MUMBAI: Amar Upadhyay has been an integral part of Colors’ unconventional show Molkki.
Playing the lead role in the show, he recently had to undergo surgery as he injured himself. Speaking exclusively to Tellychakkar.com, Amar shared, “My ligament tore and the meniscus was broken to go through a surgery to repair it. I will rest for 4 to 5 days and will later resume shooting as I like to keep myself busy shooting and working. I will be now shown on a wheelchair. Molkki is basically a fast-paced show. There are new characters that are going to enter and there will be major twists in the life of Virendra Pratap Singh. It would take at least 30 to 40 days for me to completely recover.
I have requested the makers the permits me to shoot from home and when I can put a little bit of pressure on my leg I shall travel to the sets. I will be in the story in a way that my character of Virendra Pratap Singh will be shown that he has injured his leg. Virendra Pratap Singh is a very important part of the story and he cannot be gone for long and the surgery was also very important and I was dealing it for a long time now.”
We wish Amar a speedy recovery! (Also Read: MUST-READ: Despite being married, are Sirat’s feelings for Kartik JUSTIFIED in Star Plus’ Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai?)
