Farida Dadi in Ravi Ojha's Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein

While currently they are already entertaining the viewers with their light-hearted daily soap Sasural Genda Phool, Ravi Ojha Productions is all set to launch their new show Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein on Star Plus. And after roping in talented actors like Nivedita Bhattacharya, Shaleen Bhanot and Deblina Chatterjee, the production has now roped in veteran actress Farida Dadi for a pivotal role. Fardia Dadi, who is a well-known face in the Indian television industry and has also been a part of Bollywood films like 3 Idiots, will be seen in this upcoming show. She will play the female lead’s nanny in the show. Her character will be called Dai jaan in the show. The actress was last seen as Shrimati Kasturiben Poppatlal Desai, a grandmother in SAB TV’s Don’t Worry Chachu. When Tellychakkar.com contacted Farida Dadi and she confirmed the news: “Yes, I am very much a part of the show. It is a very nice and positive character and I agreedto be a part of the daily as it is a very different love story. I just hope that people like the series.” The show will hit TV screens from 14 February 2012 at 10 pm and will replace Navya.
