A few cast and crew members of Star Plus show Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali found covid positive

MUMBAI: A fresh wave of the novel coronavirus is being observed lately in the country. The positive cases for COVID- 19 are increasing rapidly. Another television set being affected by the attack of the virus is Star Plus’ newly launched show Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali. Sources state it that a few members and artists of Star Plus show Mehndi Hai Rachne Wali have tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Despite taking the suggested measures, a few members tested positive, which has alerted the production house, and they are not leaving any stone unturned to make sure that the cast and crew stay hale and hearty.

Producer of Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali, Sandiip Sikcand stated, “Few artists and crew members who are a part of the TV show Mehndi Hai Rachne Waali have tested positive for COVID-19 and are asymptomatic. All of them have received medical help/attention and are under quarantine. The Kolhapur Municipal Corporation (KMC) has been informed, and the sets have been fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to.”

For the initiated, actors Niel Bhatt and fiancée Aishwarya Sharma of Ghum Hai Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein fame also tested positive for COVID 19 and are recovering.
