MUMBAI: The current season of couple dance reality show Nach Baliye is on air. The makers returned with season 9 which is produced by none other than Bollywood superstar Salman Khan. The biggest change in the new season is the format. This season also features ex-couples.
However, it seems having ex-lovers on board has backfired. Urvashi Dholakia raised the red flag by saying that the show was largely concentrating on staged drama between the exes and hardly on dancing. This was soon followed by Madhurima Tuli and Vishal Aditya blowing their lungs out- but the audience voted them out. Now, according to a report in SpotboyE.com, Chahatt Khanna did receive a call if she would be interested to shake a leg in Nach Baliye. Kanan Malhotra and Chahatt have been cordial with each other. And this time too, they spoke to each other warmly. The portal further reported that Chahatt called up Kanan to ask if he would be interested in doing the show Nach Baliye 9 with her. Kanan jovially replied back saying, "Mera divorce ho jayega".
For the uninitiated, Chahatt dated Kanan for two years before she later married businessman Bharat Narisinghani, while in 2014, Kanan married Delhi girl Aakanksha Dhingra.
