The Trideviyaan actor was in his hometown, Agra, ever since the lockdown was imposed. “Ever since I moved to Mumbai in 2006, I never got a chance to celebrate my birthday with my family. Everyone was planning to celebrate in a big way this year. I was supposed to catch a flight on July 1 (Srman’s birthday date). As there is no direct flight from Agra to Mumbai, I took a flight from Jaipur, which is the nearest airport. We had a pre-birthday celebration on June 30. We had a family feast, along with a cake-cutting ceremony. When I reached Jaipur, I was informed that the flight was postponed to 2 pm. I had to stay at a family friend’s place in Jaipur, and neither could I celebrate my birthday with my family, nor could I reach on time to resume the shoot.”
