Indian Idol' special episode Roobaroo is becoming the talk of the town with each passing week. Last week it was Riteish Deshmukh who came to encourage the young contestants and this week it's going to be choreographer Ganesh Hegde who will be shaking his leg to the songs sung by contestants.
Our khabru from the sets tells us that it turned out to be a blessing for the young contestants who are trying to cope up with the pressure of singing and performing at the same time. He shared his experiences and gave many useful tips to the contestants. Contestants are keeping busy with their other commitments and shows in various cities. So the episode turned out to be a good change for them.
Ganesh Hegde, who sings, dances and choreographs was looking like a rock star. "It was fun to be on Indian Idol. Coming on this show reminded me of those days when I was struggling to get a big break in this film industry. This is a good platform for youngsters to show case their hidden talents," he adds further.
He had an interactive session with participants where they spoke about issues faced by them while performing on stage. Ankita had issues about performing and singing at the same time where as Meiyang Chang expressed his concerns about dancing. To the self-proclaimed non-dancer Hegde demonstrated few dance steps that Chang is not likely to forget ever!
Ganesh Hegde's presence lifts the spirit of the contestants who have been feeling despondent after the successive departure of each of their buddies, especially after Abhishek's exit last week. "I just came to motivate these contestants. I want to say one thing to everybody that just let your heart out while performing. It's a race and one has to win but others should not think that this is their end. Go get up and try again," adds Ganesh.
