Ganesh Leela to end next month?

If rumours are to be believed, then Ganesh Leela (Sahara One) is about to wrap up in the second week of May. Though, the channel will take the final decision about this week itself. A source says, “Ganesh Leela is not getting the desired TRPs and this is how the channel is pulling it down in the second week of May. Approximately May 8 or 10 will be the last day of telecast. A new show, Bitto will replace it.” On the other hand, a source from the production house says, “Things are yet to get clear. We didn’t gain ratings during IPL, as our show (8.30 pm) clashed with the matches. But the channel will wait for a week if we manage to fetch decent numbers then it will continue in the same slot and the new show might get a different slot. So, we are waiting for the channel’s decision.” Rahul Raj, who plays Veer, in the show says, “It is true that our show could not fetch good numbers; the production house has not informed us about our last day. In a week or two, we will get to know what the future of this show is.” It is said that the makers are ready with 30 more episodes of this show and are ready to continue on the similar time slot. Further, the channel has 8 and 10 pm slots available for the new show. Currently after reincarnation, Veer who was mistaken as Sharad and was residing at Bhakti’s (Samragyi Nema) house, has revealed his real identity to Bhakti. Veer has also expressed his feelings for Bhakti. Producer Dheeraj Kumar, Creative Eye says, “I do not want to comment about it, the channel is revamping time slots of various shows, so they are the right people to comment about it.” Channel officials remained unavailable.
