Gathbandhan to go off air

MUMBAI: Here’s a sad piece of news for the viewers of Gathbandhan! The show, which airs on Colors, might bid farewell to the viewers.   

Produced by Jay Mehta Productions, the show features debutantes Shruti Sharma and Abrar Qazi in the lead roles. The tale centres on a unique love story between a lady cop Dhanak and a street smart guy Raghu. The storyline was refreshing and viewers loved the fresh pairing and the show even got great TRPs. Actor Kinshuk Mahajan was also roped in to play parallel lead in the show.

Now, according to some reports, the show might go off air soon. Reports also suggest that the channel wants to make a way for Shashi Sumeet Productions’ upcoming show Aarambh, which features Mahima Makwana in the lead role, and that’s why they have decided to pull the plug on Gathbandhan.
