Time to wish ‘Happy Birthday’ to the cutest baby God!

Readers, we are talking about Gopal, the young form of Lord Krishna.

Gopal is one such God, whom devotees find awwdorable and cute. Along with worshiping the God, they also shower him with their love and affection.

So on Janmashtami, Tellychakkar.com buzzed Bong actress Geetashree Roy to know about her plans as she is an ardent devotee of Lord Krishna.

She shared, “Every year, we celebrate Janmashtami at my Mama’s (maternal uncle) home in Howrah (West Bengal). I reach his place in the morning and help in the Puja preparation by changing the clothes of Gopal and making nadu (a sweet food item).”

“Janmashtami is a very special occasion for me. I begin any occasion be it Rakhi or Holi, after worshiping Gopal,” she added.

Geetashree says that as a child she used to have ‘abhiman’ on Gopal.

Remembering her childhood days, she explained with a smile, “As a child, I used to share my feelings with Gopal. So when I used to see that the prasad (special food for God) remained there long after I had offered it to him I would get angry. I literally used to have abhiman on him.”

“One day, I had complained to my father about this and my problem got solved and Gopal started eating my Prasad. Later, I got to know who the real Gopal was. To make me happy, my father used to eat the prasad. And guess what, coincidentally my father’s name is also Gopal,” she added laughing out loud.

Cute memories, Geetashree!

On the work front, the actress gained fame for the daily Rashi and was recently seen in the film Shei Meyeta.
