MUMBAI: Star Plus's Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is helmed by Shakti Arora and Bhavika Sharma and has gained media attention ever since a leap was revealed. Devoted viewers of the show were sad not only by the leap but also by Shakti's exit from the show. Even though Shakti has officially announced his exit, his supporters are still holding out hope.

However, the actor himself had earlier confirmed his exit and said there was no chance the leap wouldn't happen now in an interview with the well-known news portal. Here is the new information from the show's sets because of a reliable source who is close to the production. The source revealed that Shakti's track would probably end in a few days.

The source says, ''The production is wrapping up with Shakti's track and he is likely to finish shooting by the 15th or the 16th of this month.''

Speaking about how the decision made by the makers of GHKKPM surprised him, Shakti had previously stated in a conversation,, ''Honestly, it was not conveyed to me at all. I got to know of this from the media, the articles and the speculations. But when I read about the same, I knew something was cooking because there is never smoke without fire. Obviously such news is not directly conveyed and it is confidential most of the times because there are a lot of factors involved. But eventually, I knew it. However, I took it in the right spirit. I was not upset at all.''

Hitesh Bharadwaj and Kaveri Priyam are reportedly locked in for the show at this time, while Bhavika Sharma is now expected to retain her role .
