MUMBAI: The year 2024 has seen lots of highs and lows in several television shows.
Many television shows saw so many new entries and exits which not only brought a huge twist to the storyline but also took the viewers by surprise.
While some actors walked out of the show voluntarily or were asked by the makers to do so, some characters came to an end as per the storyline.
So, let's take a look at the biggest characters who made an exit from the iconic shows:

1. Gaurav Khanna
With the generation leap happening, Gaurav's character Anuj was not shown. The viewers kept waiting for his entry in Anupamaa but that didn't happen. Finally, Gaurav cleared the air on his comeback and stated that Anuj Kapadia's character has made an exit from the show.
2. Sudhanshu Pandey
He became a household name for his role Vanraj Shah in Star Plus' Anupamaa. While he was associated with the show since the beginning, his sudden and abrupt exit from the show came as a huge shocker.
3. Madalsa Sharma
She also played a pivotal role in Anupamaa. However, with time, Madalsa's screen-space in the show decreased. The actress' character abruptly ended and she was never seen back.
4. Alisha Parveen
Alisha's exit from the show has raised several eyebrows. The actress was roped in to play the lead in the drama series just two months ago and now, she is all set to make an exit.
5. Palak Sindhwani
Taarak Mehta's Palak aka Sonu Bhide's exit was a controversial one. The actress accused the makers of the show of harassment. The news spread like a wildfire.
6. Shraddha Arya
The actress who was a part of Kundali Bhagya for 7 and a half years, bid adieu to the show ahead of her delivery. Shraddha's exit made the viewers sad but what was more saddening is that the show wrapped up within a few days after Shraddha announced her exit.
7. Shehzada Dhami
The lead actor of Star Plus' long-running show Shehzada was reportedly expelled from the show overnight. The news came as a huge shocker to the fans.
Apart from these actors, Kush Shah from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma, also quit the show after being a part of it for more than a decade.
Pratiksha Honmukhe was shown a door to exit from Yeh RIshta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Sana Sayyad who played Palki in Kundali Bhagya quit the show ahead of her pregnancy.
