MUMBAI: With Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar finalising their wedding on the coming 16th of July, with less than 10 days at hand now, looks like the preparations of their pre-marital rituals and ceremonies have already kick-started with a band, that too at Rahul's residence.
The duo garnered immense national attention when Rahul officiated the speculations regarding his dating rumours with telly actress Disha Parmar. Sometime around late last year, Bigg Boss fans and viewers witnessed singer Rahul Vaidya as one of the house inmates of the Salman Khan hosted reality show's 14th installment.
Despite his flawless game skills, indoor stints and establishing solid bro-code with co-inmate Aly Goni, this one fact about his private life made Rahul an instant headline sensation once it was out in public, infact, when Rahul took the initiative to inform the world about his real-life love interest. Not only that, by disclosing her identity as none other than Pyaar Ka Dard Hai... fame Disha Parmar, while asserting his love for her in the public from inside the Bigg Boss house on her birthday, he even went the extra mile by proposing to her on national television.
To validate the same, on this year's Valentine's Day, Disha entered the show as a guest and accepted his love and proposal in the public, promising to marry him and cheering for him as her self-proclaimed champion. She was even seeing urging fans online to cast their votes for him.
After emerging as the show's 1st runner-up, the duo was seen partying hard post-reuniting after months and they even headed for frequent dates together. They once even enjoyed a double-date with Aly Goni and his girlfriend, Jasmin Bhasin.
After Rahul's public proposal and Disha's acceptance of the same, their fans couldn't keep calm and constantly kept on urging them to tie the knot ASAP. Apparently, both of them were also eager to get married earlier and had their respective parents and family's approval for the same, however, they had to wait a bit longer owing to the sudden outbreak of COVID-19's deadly second-wave throughout the country.

Finally, with the situation gradually coming under everybody's control after a hiatus of 3-4 months, Rahul-Disha finally announced their final wedding date of 16th July yesterday itself, through an interview. Since then, the duo is busy making all the arrangements for their big day.
Now today, Disha happened to take to her Instagram handle and shared a series of updates on her story regarding their pre-marriage preparations, ranging from the pre-marital event's rehearsals to officially declaring the on-set of #THEDISHUWEDDING. The coolest part of this is that their party has officially commenced at Rahul's residence, who is being accompanied by Disha and some of their close friends. Looks like the group is having a gala time together.

Reportedly, their wedding would be an intimate affair with only a selected few invited for it. In a recent interview, Rahul shared that, "Disha and I have always been in favour of a close-knit wedding. We want our loved ones to attend our big day and bless us. The marriage will be held according to the Vedic rituals and we will also have Gurbani Shabad sung at the ceremony.”, to which Disha further added, “My idea of an ideal wedding ceremony is an intimate affair. Marriage is a union of two people and their respective families with their dear ones in attendance. I have always wished for a simple ceremony and I am glad that’s exactly what we are going ahead with..”.
On the work front, Rahul will be seen in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. He just returned to India after wrapping up it's shoot in Cape Town (South Africa).
