MUMBAI: Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega is a much-loved show. Now, according to a leading daily, a new member is joining the cast of the show. Shalini Mahal, who is popular for her short videos on social media, has been roped in to play a key role in the series. She will be paired opposite actor Abhinandan Jindal, who plays Kanika Mann aka Guddan’s brother on the show. Guddan – Tumse Na Ho Payega is all set to go in for another time leap of 10 years following which the new entries will be introduced to viewers.

Speaking about her character, Shalini told Times Of India, “I play the character of Arushi Birla, who has a very positive outlook towards life. She does not shy away or back down against any wrongdoing, even if it means challenging certain decisions taken by her own mother.” 

Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega marks Shalini’s debut in the world of acting. When asked if she is nervous, she told the daily, “I have done commercials and I’m known for my videos on a video-sharing social networking service and Instagram. I had given several auditions before I bagged this show. I feel fortunate to have bagged Guddan as it is a popular show. I am prepared to work hard to make a mark for myself and strike a chord with the audience.”
