Hamari Beti Raj Karegi gets prime time slot; Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki to end?

TellyChakkar had earlier reported about Sahara One’s new show Hamari Beti Raj Karegi being in the pipeline for a long time and was kept on the backburner due to other new shows. Well, it is finally set to take off. The show was ready to launch almost a month back, with its casting done, but rumour had it that the channel had almost axed the show due to budgetary constraints. According to a source, “The show finally has a bank of episodes and is all set to be aired after so many contemplations. The production house was pitching hard to get the prime time slot of 8.30 or 9 pm and got the 8.30 one and will air Monday-Thursday, launching on December 20.” According to another source, “The channel might shuffle the current 9 pm show, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki. It is one of the longest running ones, five years and counting but now might go off air in a month or two, as there are more new shows waiting to take its place, but nothing is decided as of now.” Says an official from Rajshri Productions (Woh Rehne…), “These are rumours and we haven’t received any such notice from the channel yet.” Benaifer Kohli, producer of the new show confirmed the news as she says, “It will air from the 20th and has got the 8.30 pm slot.” Well, some good news and some bad news then for the faithful viewers of the channel.
