How we love the magic, naughtiness and innocence child artists bring to the small screen! However we often don’t realise the struggles they go through as they try to balance their schooling and studies with their shoot schedules. Television shoots can continue for long hours on a daily basis which leaves almost no time and energy for child actors to focus on their school work and other activities that a normal child would engage in. Here is where the parents of the children come to their rescue! Their supportive parents and cooperative teachers lend a helping hand to help cope up with the studies that they miss in school.
Striking the perfect balance between his shoot and studies is the new mischievous kid on the block, Aryan Prajapati aka Hrithik Happu Singh. Currently essaying the extremely notorious and over-smart son of Daroga Happu Singh in &TV’s show Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, the young actor has gained immense popularity for his work across television and films. The talented child artist has often been appreciated for his varied roles in films that have been hits at the box office and will be soon be seen in the upcoming Salman Khan starrer, Bharat. While he may be reaping the benefits of his success, turns out the kid is also managing the time devoted to his studies and shoot well. Currently in the fifth standard, Aryan has been shuttling between school and television or movie sets, while also using the transit time to pick up on his share of studies.
Talking about how he brings this balance, Aryan said, “I began shooting for shows and commercials at the age of six years. I have always followed a strict schedule that has managed to help me keep up with my studies from then till right till now where I’m shooting for Happu Ki Ultan Paltan. My parents have helped me set this balance and make sure that the burden of either my studies or shoot does not affect each other. Even while I am shooting and have some free time around, my mother helps me study and gives me easy subjects or topics to learn so that I don’t feel overburdened and neither do I lag in my studies. It is because of my mother that I get good grades in my exams. My school has been extremely supportive and understanding towards my passion for acting and they have given me an exemption to take leaves in between to concentrate on my shoot. When I have off from the shoots I go to school and attend regular lectures.”
Talking about his studies Aryan’s mother Reeta Prajapati shares, “Aryan is a bright student at school and he is also very good at extracurricular activities. I am extremely supportive of his talent and passion, but his grades and study schedules are as important to me. Even now I make sure he carries his books and study material with him on the Happu Ki Ultan Paltan set so that he can study during breaks. Sometimes, when I go with him during an outdoor shoot, I teach him a topic which he has lost out on learning in school. Aryan, is blessed to have the teachers who keep mailing me everything that is being taught in the class.”
Amidst all the running around from set to school the talented boy manages to take classes in swimming and dance. Aryan who is extremely passionate about acting wishes to become a good dancer as well, which also helps him in his films and TV shows. Sometimes hectic and exhausting shooting schedules lead the children to be less proactive and tired by the end of the day and it also affects their studies. In Aryan’s case, his mother makes sure that he is active and doesn’t skip his homework and submissions in school. Speaking of which Aryan shares, “During exam time if I am shooting I make sure that I do my revisions along with my mother on the sets of my show. My mother doesn’t let my shoot affect my exams.”
We sure are proud of how Aryan tackles both his shoot and studies!
