Happy Birthday to Rajiv Thakur and Madhavi Gogate

Goa seems to be the ideal birthday vacation outlet for many TV stars. That is a common answer we hear when we ask them where they would like to spend their birthday other than their shooting hub Mumbai city. Rajiv Thakur who you are currently seeing on Sony Entertainment Television’s Comedy Circus would also have loved to spend his birthday today (7 August 2013) with his family in Goa. His wife has gifted him a diary and his children have given him cards. Regarding his childhood birthdays he says, “My mom would do puja and then distribute prasad.” Madhavi Gogate, who you have seen in serials like Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein and Baba Aiso Var Dhoondo, feels blessed on her birthday today as she is acting in a play after eleven years. Her Marathi play Thoda Sa Laga, Thoda Sa Magic was just about to start when we had called her. Instead of going on a birthday vacation, she feels it is best to spend one’s birthday in one’s native place with one’s family. Pondering on her childhood birthdays she says, “Sweets would be distributed to friends, families and neighbours on this day.” We wish they have a great day ahead!!!
