MUMBAI: Tera Yaar Hoon Main on SAB TV is a beautiful story and the audience is in love with the current drama.
It was only recently that actress Sayantani Ghosh came on board for the show and today, in an exclusive conversation with Tellychakkar.com, she opened up on her experience shooting for the show and her bond with co-actor Sudeep Sahir.
Sayantani shared, “2020 ended on a good note for me as I started shooting with the new year. The show is light hearted comedy and it is a good dose of drama and humour. The role of Daljeet is challenging and fun. I don’t think I have played a Punjabi girl in the past and the character is also very distinguished. This is the kind of role I am looking out for. She is a single mother and today’s mother who wants to bring up her children.
Also the way the story moves forward is very unique.
The tagline Tera Yaar Hoon Main is about a father and a son but the show beautifully captures all aspects of relationships and beautifully defines it. Also, I have known Sudeep for a long time but this is the first time I am working with him and after a few days of shooting, I told him that it's hats off to him as he has totally sunk into the character of Rajeev. It is a good learning experience and since he is a Punjabi, both he and my director help me perform my scenes better.``
