Currently his show on Star Plus Ruk Jaana Nahin is winning hearts of the masses. When we called him to come in the house as a guest editor, like a true sport, he agreed readily. “But what do I have to do?” he asked. Well, there is no point denying that he is a busy man and when we asked him to file a story, he got a little confused. “I don’t know what to do right now. I am just coming from back-to-back meetings. Life of a producer is not that easy. But I promise I will call you tomorrow and give some exclusive dope,” he smiled. We understand, Hemal and we do trust you. Furthermore, he talked about how he keeps a tap on the other shows produced by his contemporaries which really do well on the TRP chart. “Little bit of healthy competition should always be there,” he winked. He also shared how writers of TV shows should be given more time and space to churn out more creative content. “A novel writer may write amazing stories but he has to get the feel and the pattern of television script writing.
