Hemant Chaddha joins Vishal in Dwarkadheesh

Sagar Pictures launches yet another mytho show titled Dwarkadheesh on Imagine. Vishal Karwal who was last seen in Rishton Se Badi Pratha will be seen as Krishna and Hemant Chaddha who was last seen in Surya- The super Cop will play Balram. A source says, “The shooting of the show was to start a few days ago but since Vishal went to his hometown for a ten day holiday the schedule was delayed. However they shot for the promo a few days ago with Vishal. The actor will be seen playing Krishna which is a role completely diverse to what he played in Pratha. However the actor took up this role as he wanted a break from the roles that he had been playing in soaps. “Hemant Chaddha too will be part of the show as Balram. Dwarkadheesh will focus on the story which is set after Mahabharata. Till date nobody has featured the story after Mahabharata but Dwarkadheesh is a story about Krishna’s life with Rukmani post Mahabharata. The shooting for the show will start from June 8 and it will go on air in July. Rest of the cast will be finalised in a day or two.” Vishal confirmed his participation on the show and said, “I wanted to do something different and when this came my way I took it up. I know I will have to shoot for 12 hours in a costume but I am looking forward to this role.” Chaddha remained unavailable for comment.
