A lot has been said about Barun Sobti’s comeback project Mohra.
The story of a con girl and a police inspector did interest us and we had been waiting for it with anticipated breath!
Supposed to be launched in Zee TV, the sudden news of the show getting scrapped did come as a disappointment for all.
Though there has been no clarity over the series getting suddenly scrapped, a lot of speculations have been doing the rounds.
From the makers deciding to make the show a daily, to Barun not keen on giving so much time to the show, to also discrepancies between creative and production. But all words no meat!
Finally ending its silence, BBC Worldwide Media has decided to clear the air.
Richa Yamini, Creative Head-Fiction, exclusively told Tellychakkar.com. “In light of the current programming, the new management at Zee decided to re-evaluate their strategy and wanted to opt for something different. We of course, had complete faith that the audience would love a story with a different set up but very relatable emotions.”
Seems like the channel was not to keen to carry on with the show. Phew! That’s sad!
Our efforts to reach out the channel representative remained futile.
