Here’s why some fans of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai are unhappy with the latest track; it has Hina Khan connection

MUMBAI: Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is a show that has a massive fan following. Currently, the story revolves around Kartik and Naira. While Mohsin Khan is seen as Kartik, Shivangi Joshi plays the role of Naira.  

In the latest track of the show, Kartik and Naira have decided to name their baby girl Akshara. For the uninitiated, Akshara is Naira's mother's name, who passed away a few years ago in the show. Yeh Rishta started with the love story of Akshara and Naitik played by Hina Khan and Karan Mehra respectively. Akshara and Naitik have their own fan following. That’s why it seems a section of fans is unhappy with the development.

While some fans have loved the baby’s name, others expressed their disappointment as they feel only Hina Khan is their Akshara and no one can take her place.
