MUMBAI: India's Got Talent is an Indian reality television series on Sony TV. The show follows the global Got Talent format, in which contestants audition in front of three judges and a studio audience. Up until the semi-final and final rounds, the judges decide whether or not a contestant advances in the competition. During the semi-final and final rounds, viewers vote on which contestants will advance.
Season 9 of India's Got Talent is hosted by Arjun Bijlani, and the judges of the show are actresses Kirron Kher and Shilpa Shetty; rapper Badshah; and lyricist, poet, and screenwriter Manoj Muntashir.
Kirron always has a blast on the sets of India's Got Talent. She is often seen hiding her face with her saree during dangerous acts on stage. Now, a new promo shows a contestant doing an impression of Kirron after arriving on stage in a red saree.
The video introduces contestant Nandini of Warrior Squad as Kirron Ji. She arrives on stage in a red saree. During the stage act, she mimics Kirron as a voiceover says in Kirron's voice “you are frightening me.” She is then seen walking away in Kirron's style with a voiceover saying, "Yar mere ko jaane de, ye main dekhna nahi chahti, mere paise kaat lena is episode ke" (let me leave, I don't want to see this, cut my payment for the episode).
The video shows an amused Kirron as she watches the act. She is later seen pressing the golden buzzer. Shilpa Shetty saluted the Warrior Squad by climbing on the stage wall.
Sony captioned the video, “#WarriorSquad ki epic mimicry and amazing stunts ko mila judges se ek aur golden buzzer! Dekhiye aise hi kayi saare entertaining acts.”
Have a look.
Warrior Squad is one the most talented and most loved dance groups on the show, and their performance mesmerizes the audiences and the judges. They were even invited by America’s Got Talent.
Speaking about being chosen for America’s Got Talent, the leader of the Warrior Squad, Rahul said, "My group and I cannot express our happiness and excitement in words. For starters, Jackie Shroff Sir praised our performance and the next thing, we’re invited to the TV audition round for America’s Got Talent. It’s like a double bonanza for us!"
