How new is the 'new' Anandi?

Apparently the ‘new’ Anandi is not new after all. According to a hawk-eyed couch potato, Pratyusha Banerjee who was launched as the grown up Anandi in Balika Vadhu amidst much fanfare by the channel has reportedly done a cameo in Imagine’s Rakt Sambandh. Our source has also sent us a few screen grabs of her ‘cameo’ to prove her point. We tried to check with people in the know of things, but understandably none of them were ready to comment. One source, however, on condition of anonymity, said, “Yes, there is a girl called Pratyusha in our show…but I am not sure of her full name. I also do not know whether she is the new Anandi.” One look at the two screenshots and the similarities are impossible to deny– the smile, the eyes, shape of the face and of course the name (as confirmed by our source). As for trying to reach Pratyusha it is an impossible task as Colors has forbidden her from sharing her contact details with the press. Over to you, Anandi.
