Hum Bhi Agar Bachhe Hote: Celebs share that one thing they would love to do if they can go back to their childhood

MUMBAI: "Within us, all is a radiant inner child bathed in joy". Children's Day is celebrated every year on November 14, and it is the time of the year when you should let your inner child out. So we spoke to a few celebs about that one thing they would love to do if they can go back to their childhood, and here's what they had to say:

Savi Thakur: I would love to go back to those beautiful days, I miss my childhood. If I can go back to my childhood then I would love to relive those moments where I was very carefree and would just go out cycling, playing cricket, or even swimming. Though later I used to get an earful for that, those were the fun days. I always get tears in my eyes when I think about it.

Avinash Mukherjee:  I loved the afternoon naps in my childhood and playing cricket in the evening with my society friends, or flying kites from my balcony, so, if I can go back to my childhood I would love to do these things.

Ajay Singh Chaudhary:  In our childhood, there were no phones or TV and that was the best period because we were full of human emotions. I want to relive that era where we could play outdoor games. We used to stay in the army area, so whenever there was a power cut we used to play hide and seek, or play cricket on the road, it was so much fun.

Akshit Sukhija: When I was 10, we used to live in Delhi. There were around 12 children of my age group in that same area, I lived there for 5 years and we all grew together, we used to play games like marbles, pittu, etc. And if there was ever a power cut, we used to play hide and seek, so I miss doing these types of things now.

Ayush Gupta: During my school days I still remember going cycling with friends and sleeping during free lectures. I miss these things a lot and I want all of them back.

Oye Kunaal: If I can go back to my childhood I would get rid of the mobile phone technology and start playing games like hide and seek, and cricket.

Sohail Shaikh: I had a great childhood. I am a 90s kid and at that time there was nothing like cell phones or tabs or any application where we could spend the whole day. I have a playground just next to my house and I have played all the games there, like in the rainy season we played football, we also used to make paper boats whenever it rained and on normal days we would play cricket. We used to fly kites during Makar Sankranti. I miss all that because it was really fun.

Suraj Kakkar: I was a very mischievous child, but I participated in every sport. I was very naughty. Whenever we went on a family trip, I used to disappear and everyone used to scold me. Once I remember I went to Singapore with my parents and I went missing there, my parents were in the hotel room and I was exploring the mall.

Rajshri Rani: I think I would love to be as carefree as I was when I was a child. I would love to enjoy the joys of life and not stress about anything.

Nishant Singh Malkhani: If I can go back to my childhood days I would love to learn to play an instrument or take professional dance lessons. I would also love to be the same happy-go-lucky child too.

Vijayendra Kumeria: If I can go back to my childhood and do one thing then I will enroll myself in a professional swimming training program. I know swimming but I regret that I started very late and that's a reason that I am an average swimmer. If I get a chance then I will start early and become a champion.

Pranitaa Pandit:  The one thing that I would love to do would be to play sports that I didn’t. One is basketball, I liked it but somehow I didn’t play much of it and if I could go back I would love to play this sport and enjoy myself. I still remember playing basketball and badminton used to give me so much happiness and I still love it.

Subuhii Joshi: The one thing I would love to do if I can go back to my childhood would be to have more sleepovers with my friends. I miss it badly when we kids used to be just carefree and talk all night with friends. We do that now also, but I think that carefree attitude has gone missing.

Saanand Verma: I miss sleeping on the pual (golden coloured dry grass) and eating gud with chura. I used to ride bicycles a lot and roam around the entire city. So, I would love to do these things.

Srishti Jain: I hope I don’t sound like a geek but I miss being in school! I loved going to school and spending the day learning, the dance classes, and the sports period with my friends. I also miss summer vacations at my grandparent's house with all my cousins. Most of all I miss being that carefree.

Kunal Thakkur: The irony of my childhood is that children would fight with their parents to bunk school and I would insist on going to school. The reason is that I was always on the tennis court training to become a tennis player, so I was exempted from attending classes as I was representing my school in tennis tournaments. Now that I think of it I would love to go back in time and just be in the classroom as I have spent most of my childhood on the tennis courts.

Rohit Choudhary: If I can go back to my childhood days, I think the first thing I would do is to listen to everything that my father has to say. I would pay more attention to my studies and maybe become an IAS or IPS officer and be of service to my nation.
