Sudha Chandran better known as Ramola Sikcand is currently receiving accolades for her Ammaji act in Sahara One's Solah Singaar. But now the dancer turned actor has decided to move down South for better assignments. In fact, she has already signed on the dotted line for two upcoming projects - a Tamil and another Telugu soap. "I am fed up of playing negative roles and needed a change. So, now viewers down South can catch me in a positive avatar as a lead protagonist. The first show is called Jaya on Jaya TV directed by Prabhu Nepal and the second show is titled Grashana, produced by Indra Production for ETV," reveals the veteran actress. For the uninitiated, Sudha started her career down South with a film Mayuri. "Life is now going a full circle for me, and I am happy to go back down South after a long time," she adds further. So, what's up on her film career? "After Malamal Weekly, I did not get any good offers so I am not being seen in any of the films. I am still waiting for a good role to come my way. If it's not Bollywood definitely it's Tollywood for me. I might very soon be doing a film but the talks are still not finalised," says Sudha. That's not it, but Sudha's got more in her kitty. Apart from Solah Singaar, verysoon we'll get to see her in a different avatar on another general entertainment channel. "I cannot revel much at this stage as things are still to be discussed. But it will definitely be a different role," explains Sudha. Well, with a platefull of plum roles, we wish the veteran all the best!
