Almost after a decade Rehaan Roy, who is currently enacting the role of an Ex Army officer on Colors Bangla’s Meera (Grassroot Entertainment), is going to celebrate Durga Puja in the city of joy, Kolkata.
How is the feeling, we asked.
“It is a great feeling. I am going to celebrate with my friends and family. In fact, some of my friends, including actors and reporters, are coming all the way from Mumbai to celebrate the festival here,” said the hunk.
He added, “In Mumbai also we used to celebrate Durga Puja. There was a pandal nearby, where we all would assemble and enjoy.”
Since you have stayed for a long time in Mumbai, does the festival still hold significant to you.
“It is the most important festival for Bengalis. We cannot live without it. The entire year we eagerly wait for this festival.”
Talking about the three things that he is going to do this year, he shared, “I am going to relish the delicious luchi and cholar dal, wear white kurta and pyajama and pay visit to the pandals.
Isn’t he scared of getting mobbed? “I have been invited by few channels to visit pandals and want to see how my audiences react seeing me,” smiled the actor.
When quizzed about his diet during the occasion since he is a fitness freak, the actor quipped, “No diet during these four days. I am going to cheat on my diet, and gorge on my favourite dish luchi and cholar dal.”
Enjoy it to the fullest Rehaan!
