Hello my dear fans!! I am Samaira Rao whom people know as Mansi from Sony Entertainment Television’s ongoing show Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage.
Born and bought up in Mumbai, I finished my schooling and college (commerce) from Dubai International School and college. I live with my mom and dad in Mumbai. I have one elder brother who stays in London.
I am an introvert kind of a person. I take time to open up and don’t make friends easily. I have a few friends who are very close to me. In my leisure time, I like to spend time with my family. I have also a liking for travelling and listening to music. My best moment of life was when I went to Disneyland in Paris with a few of my friends and family members. I enjoyed the trip to the core and will never forget the experience in my entire life.
After my college, I used to do a lot of modeling, but my parents always wanted me to join our family business which I didn’t want to. Later, I made my portfolio from famous photographer Dabboo Ratnani. After the photo shoot, I got a chance to play a cameo in Sahara One’s Mata Ki Chowki. Initially, I was a bit confused to take up the opportunity as I had never faced the camera and I didn’t know A, B, C of acting. But bracing up to face the kind of challenge, I went ahead and played the role of Gauri in the show. That role will be very special to me. Later, I did a film of Rajshri Production titled Isi Life Mein.
After doing these roles, I wanted to do something different. I got many opportunities but I was waiting for something better. As everyone says, “Patience is bitter, but it bears sweet fruit.” And so it happened.
After a brief lull, I got a chance to play role of Mansi in Sony Entertainment Televisions’s Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage. I am indeed very happy to do this role and I relate to the character of Mansi a lot. I am having an awesome time on the sets. Me and Shivani (Rishika) are very good friends. I am really blessed to have such lovely people around me.
And finally, my dear fans please watch my show and do keep supporting me so that I can entertain you for years to come. Lots of love and take care!!!
