Making a grand entry in &TV’s Badii Devrani (Shashi Sumeet Productions Pvt Ltd) is the dashing Aamir Dalvi. Playing a mentally challenged man Moksh, the actor believes it is one of the most challenging characters that he has played ever.
“The entry is quite a dramatic one, wherein viewers will not have any clue about the guy until the sequence gets unfold. Moksh, would get uncomfortable with the flash lights around him. That would reveal the secret of his mental illness to the viewers,” shared Aamir.
When asked why does he is only offered such ‘different’ roles, the actor smiled, “I think I take a conscious effort to do a little hatke shows. But I think I am lucky enough to be offered so much variety and challenging roles. I am surprised, that at 41, I am playing the lead in a show with a girl half my age (smiles). Somewhere I have worked really hard and proved myself. I have pulled off all the characters that have been offered to be and that speaks for my efforts.”
And lastly when we quizzed him on the pressure of entering the show midway, Aamir smiled to say, “Trust me there is lot of pressure. The show is reviving itself and I have been shouldered with the responsibilities. I hope my character and storyline clicks with the audience. Till the numbers don’t come, I will be scared but yes, I am keeping my fingers crossed.”
Wish you lots of luck Aamir!!!
