I am not marrying Aman Verma: Ankita Bhargava

Tellychakkar.com a few days back wrote about Aman Verma tying the knot with Ankita Bhargava. The news created quite a buzz in the media and fraternity. After reading the article, Ankita got in touch with us and she said that she intended to clarify a certain things on the Aman issue. Very well…we believe in clean and fair journalism. Hence, we asked the lovely lady to go ahead. Later, she sent us a mail. This is what she wrote: “Aman Verma and my family have been friends for more than a decade. He has worked with my mother on two TV shows. Since he has been a friend for so long I can whole heartedly say that he is a beautiful human being. I have seen so many people approaching him for help, and he goes out of his way to support them. But he never talks about it. He gets worked up when he sees people in distress.” She went on, “I was shocked when I read about my marriage plans with him this month. Cos there is no truth in it. I do have plans to settle down this year. But since I am the only child and I will marry someone who can be a Son that my parents never had. And I kind of love the idea of an arranged match. I believe in marriage, it’s not just about the two people, marriage means two entire families coming together. For now, I am having a lovely time in the Ad world. And I thank everyone for the great response I have been getting. I love television but I am waiting for the right show which matches my sensibilities.” After the mail we asked Ankita to clarify on when, where and how the rumour cropped up? And will she ever take things to the next level with Aman? Has the rumour affected her and Aman’s bonding anyways? She replied via mail: “Aman and I both were surprised when this news came out. Cos there is nothing of this sort on our minds. We have known each other for donkey’s years now and I respect him way too much to make any comments. He has worked extremely hard to reach where he is today. And still see him working with so much passion. Lastly, it feels lovely to meet people who love the kind of work I do. It’s funny but my OLX.IN commercial has picked up so well that wherever I go I hear people humming BADI BADI BAATIEN. I wish my career always has BADI BADI BAATEIN.” Finally, she ended by stating, “I am clearly not getting married to AMAN VERMA. This is just a senseless rumour, which has caused me a great deal of stress. I wish him well for his future.” Well, there you go Ankita. You have cleared the air now.
