Bharat Kaul, who is currently playing the role of Kushol in Colors Bangla’s newly launched soap Gachhkouto (Magic Moments Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd.), says that it is a dream role for him.
The story of Gachhkouto has been penned down by notable writer of Bengali soaps, Leena Gangopadhyay.
About his character and the writer, Bharat said to Tellychakkar.com, “The characters sketched by Leenadi have lots of shades and especially if it’s a central character. Gachhkouto is about a girl’s journey to find her father. The character of father has lots of shades and then there will be conflict among those shades. I have been working with Leenadi since the past two years and thus I understand the roller-coaster emotional journey of her characters. ”
“So, after Punyi Pukur, I am very excited about this character. As an actor, I would say it’s my dream role and I am enjoying playing it. And Leenadi herself has admitted that it is one of her best stories in recent times,” he added.
Bharat has worked in a number of films like MLA Fatakeshto and Khaad and TV soaps like Rajjotok, Aponjon and Ei Chheleta Bhelbheleta.
When we asked if he gives his inputs to his director or writer, he said, “See, I am a writer and director’s actor. When I am doing a film, it’s a director’s medium and when I am doing television it’s completely a writer’s medium.”
“And then it’s very convenient to work under Magic Moments as it lets one go back to people like Leenadi anytime for reference or any help,” he signed off.
Keep up the good work, Bharat!
