I cannot watch my episodes of Ringa Ringa Roses as I am scared of ghosts - Abigail Jain

Abigail Jain
Abigail Jain is thoroughly enjoying her Life OK horror show Khauff Begins - Ringa Ringa Roses. “I have never done this type of a genre before. So I am learning a lot about graphics, make up and how to hang on the harness etc.” Talking about her character, the 21 year old Abigail who started acting at the age of 16 with Kya Dill Mein Hai (9X) says, “Maria is a very sweet girl who has always been enamored by the personality of the ghost buster JD (Samir Soni). She is the new entry in the team while others already know the routine. Sometimes the seriousness of the situation gets to her. She is very much like me but obviously the blonder version.” Coming to Samir Soni she says, “He is a very sweet person. Being a senior, he helps out a lot on sets. Having said this, he is also a lot of fun to hang out with. He cracks a lot of jokes making the tense atmosphere on set (given the heavy duty content) quite relaxed.” Ask Abigail about her personal take on supernatural and she quips, “Although I have not experienced any such happenings, I am still very scared of ghosts. I don’t even watch my episodes or any other spooky flicks. I am very terrified to go out alone at night or sleep alone as well.” Abigail who has been around TV for the last six years (Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna and Dil Se Diya Vachan etc) is quite happy with her journey. “I always want to try out different kind of roles. I love my work; hence don’t want monotony to creep in.” Point out that she has not yet got that single big ticket role, which will catapult her into the A-league and she explains, “Yes I would love to do them, but I am more bothered about the meat of my character rather than any other appendages. That is why I loved my boxer avatar in Humse Hai Liife (Channel V). I knew nothing about this sport and to portray a professional pugilist was a challenge. I underwent the required training process.” In closing we asked the actress about her love life and she says, “I am happily single. I am very busy and don’t have time for love yet.” Abigail, may you continue doing a great job in the show.
