National-award winning choreographer Bosco Martis is seen judging and rating dancing skills along with Bollywood diva Madhuri Dixit and ace choreographer Terence Lewis in &TV’s dance reality show So You Think You Can Dance.
The choreographer, who along with his dance partner Caesar Gonsalves, has worked on 200 songs and about 75 films, said he is excited to judge the dance reality show.
“The feeling of judging So You Think is great because this is the show that I looked up to. Now I have to miss a couple of songs because I am doing So You Think, but then I had to do the show. I am going to be myself or it will be like I am too desperate to gain audience's attention. Gyan baba (Terence Lewis) is there to give gyan (lessons); I am going to say what I feel,” said Bosco.
Talking about the best dancer in Bollywood industry he quipped, “In one breathe they are Hrithik Rohan, Shahid Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh and amongst the actresses they are Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra and Sonam Kapoor.”
When Bosco was asked about the dance style that these actors are best at, he averred, “Hrithik would be fantastic in contemporary because his body type is unbelievable. Ranveer should try street dancing. Ranbir is a cheeky guy like you say a story with your dance and add humour. Tiger is incredible with the kind of acrobatic and action he does but I would like him to do hard core hip hop. Shahid is like clay, he just moulds himself into anything.”
And about the actresses he said, “Sonam and Anushka should do hip hop. Priyanka is like a street performer. Deepika should do contemporary. Shraddha should do an Indian classical dance.”
As we have always seen you and Caesar Gonsalves together so will you miss Caesar in the show, Bosco shared, “I will definitely miss Caesar. As we are growing, our journey is also growing so there are certain things that I can handle and few things that he can handle. My journey with Caesar is inseparable.”
Do you think Terence and Madhuri will overshadow you in the show? “No, my work is too much to be overshadowed. Every third song is my song so even if they want to, it’s stuck,” signed off Bosco.
