Television’s heartthrob Parth Samthaan is gearing up for his digital debut with ALTBalaji’s Main Hero Bol Raha Hoon. Parth has been a part of romantic shows like Kaisi Yeh Yaariyaan and Kasauti Zindagi Kay. His stint in these shows has given him a chocolate boy image. The actor is set to shed off the image by venturing into a project wherein he will be playing a stylish yet ruthless gangster. Parth did a lot of homework to prepare and ace the role of ‘Nawab’ in the project. He grew his hair and also took up smoking to make his character look authentic.
In an exclusive chat with TellyChakkar.com, Parth opened up about dealing with negativity and criticism. He said, “They say Ignorance is bliss and I firmly believe in the phrase as I believe it’s better to avoid such things. There’s no point in arguing with the critics, it will only lead to cross-argument and the drama would increase. If you’re someone who likes to have drama in your life, then it’s OK to reply to the haters. But I’m not that kind of a person. I like to keep my surroundings positive and stay away from drama. I also believe that once you get the hang of avoiding and ignoring haters and trolls, it would only help you in the future to deal with more such situations.”
Main Hero Bol Raha Hoon’ is set to stream on ALTBalaji and Zee5 from 20th April 2021.
