I take acting tips from my husband Virendra Saxena: Samta Sagar

Samta Sagar

Mumbai: Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai (Star Plus), with its refreshing content on political satire, has managed to carve a special place in the audience's hearts. One such character is that of Imli Devi who portrays an ardent wife supporting her husband, Chaitu Lal in every endeavour.

Actress Samta Sagar, who plays this character, gives due credit of her successful acting career to her husband and veteran actor Virendra Saxena.

Samta reveals, “My husband is my strongest supporter and my biggest critic. I have learnt a great deal of acting from him through these years. I thank my stars for having such a wonderful husband who has guided and supported me in my work. Even now, when I shoot for my show Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai, I take acting tips from him to better my art.”

Virendra has done over 80 Indian films and 11 TV shows. He is a prominent name when it comes to playing versatile characters on-screen.

Har Shaakh Pe Ullu Baithaa Hai surrounds the life of Chaitu Lal (Rajeev Nigam), a recently elected CM who unabashedly talks about its intentions of being in power. Someone who thinks of his personal gain over serving the nation, he is the perfect example of a corrupt politician in contemporary India.
