Bollywood and small screen favorite, Divya Seth, is back on television with Life OK’s latest offering Roshni (Pulse Media).
The power-house performer will be seen essaying the role of doctor Vasundhara. Despite being around in the industry for a while, Divya is working with veteran actor Amol Palekar for the first time in this medical drama. And the seasoned actor- turned-director sure had immense influence on the lady.
Commenting about the same, Divya shared, “Though I hardly ask for someone’s opinion except for the director, this time I am taking guidance from Amol ji. He himself never intervenes, but after giving my shots I look at him, and if he nods then I feel satisfied that I have done my work perfectly.”
So, how is the experience of working with two different generations? “Well, I personally feel like a mediator, caught between Amol ji and Raghuveer and the new kids like Pooja, Sahil, and Indrajeet. And each one of them is very hard working, but I often find them to be a bit anxious. But considering their age, it is quite natural and I believe it is all because they want to deliver good performances,” she said.
“While on the other hand, we are much restrained, calm and composed. I believe that’s because we have gained lots of experience. For me, acting has now become my second nature as I know how to react to situations, how to deliver my lines, and so on,” she added. We also quizzed her about the changes in the current shows and the lady replied, “Yes, there have been some changes over the years on television. Even we are trying to do something new with this show. Personally speaking, I have always been selective about my work, so, if Roshni would have been some regular project, I would have rejected it.”
We wish her all the best.
