The wonder kid Siddharth Nigam, who has impressed the audience with his excellent gymnastic skills, is all set with his upcoming show Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat on Colors, set to launch on 2 February.
The young lad, who seemed to be absolutely geared up for the project, also showed some glimpse of the stunts that he is going to perform in the show, during the press launch yesterday.
When we asked Siddharth about his preference between acting and gymnastic, he really amazed us with his smart answer. “I want to pursue with both acting and gymnastic and want to be the best in whatever I do. I want to become a good actor as well as want to win Olympic medal for my country.”
The actor who has already acted in Aamir Khan starrer Dhoom 3 mentioned that all the three works he have done so far are very different and he is enjoying doing his first historical show.
“I was given three months training before doing the show. Since I am a gymnast it was easy for me to go through the physical trainings like horse riding and all. Moreover, Ashoka was the only chapter in history that I read all by my own.”
So, how do you manage between your work and studies? “Sometimes I miss few exams in schools but those are not major ones. I try to concentrate on both. Even during my shoots, I take out time to study.”
We wish the lad all the best.
