'I will not withdraw the case' -Dolly Bindra

Dolly Bindra is fuming mad. The actress who has been noticed for her performance in Hum Sab Ek Hain and recently in Sunny Deol's Jo Bole So Nihaal, is pursuing her fight against Shweta 'Prerna' Tiwari's husband Raja Chaudhary, despite reports in the media that they had patched up. She has accused Chaudhary of groping her at a party late last weekend. Dolly says she has made up her mind to take Chaudhary to court. "'I'll fight this out, I will not leave him," says a visibly agitated Dolly, who is quick to put on display her swollen cheek and blood clot in her ear which she says was an outcome of the altercation with Chaudhary. "I am still in a state of shock. I guess Shweta can't satisfy her husband and that is the reason why he gropes other women," says Dolly, who, contrary to reports in the media, has not withdrawn the case against Raja. This is not all, Dolly has accused Raja of attempting to bribe her to ensure that she withdraws the case. "He asked my forgiveness and later that night when I called him, he gave me the choicest gaalis," says Dolly. When we asked her if she tried to talk this out with Shweta, she says, "Shweta took her husband's side. Everybody knows that he used to beat her up…during that affair with Cezzane. What will she say? She is like one of those women who by forgiving these kinds of things encourage rape," spits out Dolly in disgust. We tried to get the other side of the story and approached Raja for his version, And he minced no words when he blurted out: "This is a woman's world and some of them like Dolly (Bindra) are trying to get cheap publicity." When we informed him that Dolly has accused him of bribing her, he was quick to react. Says he: "She was with someone whom she called Raza bhai. This Raza bhai on her behalf through Himanshu Kausal was asking me to pay her forty thousand rupees or she would go ahead with the complaint". He also added that Dolly has been going around telling anyone who cares to listen that Raja had come uninvited to the party but Raja highlights that he came in with Kkusum's ex-director, Himanshu Kaushal. "If she was at her friend's party how could it happen that I slap her and no one comes to her rescue. Dolly is herself so heavy, if she falls on me wouldn't it be a task for me to free myself from her. Her husband is twice my size. Would I have the guts to risk a fight with him?" Raja points out laughing. Raja further states that "if the incident happened on 4 June, then why did she file a complaint on 5 June late in the evening?" He adds: " If she claims, that something that cheap has happened to her, then why did she wait a long time before she filed the FIR. I believe when she recovered her sanity the next morning, she hatched this plan." While sources reveal that he spent Sunday in the police lockup and that he had to pay Rs 25, 000 to bail himself out, Raja maintains, "I was not held up by the police neither was I produced before the court." Sources point out that the root cause of the clash between Dolly and Raja lies elsewhere. Apparently Shweta and Raja had tiffs with Dolly who had organized a show in Maldives. Clarifying this Raja says, "She told Shweta to perform one dance but promised the organisers that she would perform two. That means she would take double money from the organisers. She is maligning my wife. If she has anything against me then why doesn't she take my name straight away? Why does she refer to me as Kasautii's.... Prerna's husband? " What steps is he taking to counter Dolly's accusations we ask..."I will meet my lawyer Hemant Shakhapure this evening," says Raja. When we contacted Shweta, who has just arrived from Rai Bareilly, she rubbished all media reports that her husband had ill-treated her. Well, who is speaking the truth? Raja or Dolly? Only the duo knows. Meanwhile, the little spat is feeding the media frenzy.
