Television heartthrob Mishal Raheja is back on television with his latest offering for his fans, Ishq Ka Rang Safed (Film Farm) on Colors.
On the launch of the daily we caught up with the good looking actor and Mishal shared how he is excited to portray a never-seen-before avatar. Talking about his character he said, “I am essaying the role of young, mischievous Biplab, who has recently returned from Delhi to Banaras and preparing to move to America to study law. Meanwhile during his stay at Banaras he meets Dhani (Eisha Singh) and then everything gradually changes”.
Asked about opting for the character of Biplab and the young man quickly replied, “If I don’t have much to do in a role, I will never do it. I have always preferred roles, whose character graph has variation. And this is one character which I can relate to as Biplab is naughty and mischievous”.
And back again on small screen Mishal has perfectly nailed the accent of UP to get into the skin of the character. When he was quizzed about the same, Mishal quipped, “Interestingly, my chauffer, who has been there with me for the past twenty six years, hails from Uttar Pradesh. Even after so many years he still has his native accent and after listening to that for so many years, I got used to the accent and picked the mannerisms from him”.
Speaking about the subject matter of the show, Mishal said, “I have been told that such institutions and social cultures still exists in our society and I believe that everyone has the right to lead their own life and nothing can stop them. It is our way to make audience understand about a social issue”.
We wish you all the success Mishal.
