I would like to play a psychotic character in the future: Navi Bhangu

A page from the personal diary of Navi Bhangu Hello everyone… I am Navi Bhangu, whom you all know as Agam Malik from Life OK’s Amrit Manthan. To start with, a little bit about myself... I am born and raised in Nurmahal, Jalandhar where my mom stays. I completed my college from Nurmahal National College in Arts. Incidentally, my dad is away in England handling a clothing business. I have two elder brothers and one younger sister. From the last one year, I am staying here in Mumbai.

Before entering the television industry, I was into modeling. I have done many Punjabi serials and music albums. I also did many Punjabi films and a Hindi film London to Amritsar starring Jimmy Shergill. One day I got a call from Mumbai for a look test for Life OK’s upcoming show hearing which I thought of giving a try. I came to Mumbai and appeared for the test and auditioned. By God’s grace I lapped up the role of Agam for Amrit Manthan (Director’s Kut). I still remember that in my initial days in Punjab, I used to hunt for roles. Then I struggled a lot but later things started falling into place. I am lucky that after coming to Mumbai I didn’t have to struggle much. Till now, the city has been kind to me. But, frankly speaking, the first few months were indeed very terrible when I used to miss my parents a lot. If given a chance, I would like to play the role of a psycho in future. On the personal front, I am very simple and a dal roti kind of person. I am a lot like Agam in real life. I believe in truth and love my mom a lot. I like going to gym and riding bikes. I also love listening to Hindi and Punjabi music. One thing my fans don’t know about me is that I have a lot of faith in Jesus. I also read the bible everyday and also visit church every Sunday. So this was my journey till date. I would earnestly thank my parents and elder brother Paljinder for helping me at every step of my life. For my fans and well wishers, I would say keep loving me.
