After playing Nivedita in Kumkum for almost six months now, looks like Shweta Kawatra has decided to call it quits from the afternoon raker. The sultry vamp, better known as Pallavi from Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, finds it extremely difficult to cope up with the long and gruesome working hours of daily soaps.
"I'm fed up of doing dailies as they don't let me spend quality time with my family. As an actor, I don't derive creative satisfaction from these shows. These soaps only let me earn a good living. I make a point to smartly utilize my hard earned money. However, I do spend a good amount of money on traveling and partying," quips Shweta.
So, how is the experience of working in Soni Mahiwal on Doordarshan? She says, "It's a show with a different concept and on top of that its a weekly. I always want to experiment with something new."
Shweta is now planning a three week long holiday in Canada with her parents and later will visit Spain with Hubby Manav. "All the arrangements are done and I'm leaving for Canada in another ten days. Manav will not be able to accompany us as he's too busy with his shooting schedule. However, he'll join us in Spain as both of us are performing there. I'll be back only in January next year and then will consider some new projects," adds Shweta.
So, Bon Voyage Shweta, is what we say
